Below, we've listed a few locations for you to walk and cycle.[.text-size-large]

‍The Arbour‍

Enjoy a stroll through South Bank's iconic Arbour, filled to the brim with colour. A kilometre-long walkway awning located in the Parklands, The Arbour has won multiple awards for its architecture and vibrant magenta bougainvillea flowers, which is no surprise to us!

Rainforest Walk

‍A rainforest in the middle of the city? Yep, you read that correctly! A stroll along this hidden gem is a must when you’re at South Bank. The rainforest walk is located in the heart of the Parklands and features stunning boardwalk surrounded by lush, local trees and plants.‍

Clem Jones Promenade

‍Fancy a slightly bigger walk or run? Stretching from QPAC to the Maritime Museum, the Promenade is fringed by magnificent fig trees and has unobscured views of the Brisbane River and CBD. Trust us when we say, this is a view you don't want to miss at sunset.

The Goodwill Bridge

‍Want to walk in the Botanical Gardens after your feast at South Bank? The Goodwill Bridge is your answer, a 450 metre long footbridge, which links South Bank to the city’s Botanic Gardens and is used by tens of thousands of pedestrians and cyclists each week.

‍The Victoria Bridge

‍Oh, you're after some retail therapy now? Never fear, The Victoria Bridge is here linking South Bank to the city. It’s located at the edge of the Parklands (just outside of QPAC) and is always bustling with pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles.

CityCycle

‍Who said you needed to own a bike to get your cycle on? There are three CityCycle stations at South Bank, one at the Maritime Museum, one on Grey Street and one outside of QPAC. To use them, simply register at the CityCycle website, choose your subscription, collect the bike and return it to any CityCycle station across Brisbane when you’re done. Too easy!
